Krishna Leela

The main object and prophecy of the “Krishna Avathar’ was ended after killing the tyrant ‘Kamsa’ the king of Madhura. Madhura was in the Back of River ‘Yamuna’ on the same riverbed, the kings Dom of pandvas were also situated. The distance would be more than a hundred miles to wards west. The city called “Indraprastha” was the capital of pandavas. Prince DhrmaRaj being the elder and the younger brothers were four in number. ‘Bheema’ ‘Arjuna’ ‘Nagula’ and ‘Shaha Deva’. Since the king pandu was the father of these five sons, they were called as pandavas. They had cousins dhuriyodhana and his brothers. Father Thrutharastra and the sons were having their own king Dom. All these family members were belonging to ‘Kshtrya’ the honoured caste of warriors in those days.

Dhuriyodhna and his brothers were having jolousyin their inner heats. When prince Arjuna and prince Bheema were very skillful in their career of was tecahningue like wrestling and handling the Bow with arrow, the cousins Dhuriyodhana and his brother were lacking far behind. Their teacher was the great “Dhronachari”.

Sri Balarama and Sri Krishna visited to this country and made a visit to the hermitage of “Dhronachari”. They were all close realatioes indeed. Dhuriyodhana paid a warm welcome and treated with “Padha Booja” to Sri BalaRama, being the elder person to sri Krishna(padha pooja a heartfelt honour to the elders by washing their feet upon a plantain leaf and worship their feet) they then went to the palace of  Thrutha Rashtra as well as to the palace of Pandavas. “Kundhi Devi” the Mother of pandavas welcomed Sri Krishna and Sri Balarama. It was only a jorney and visit as they where close relatives.

After the Kamsa’s death, Sri Krishna and Sri Balarama went to dwell in forest for the study of war affairs and governing of country, under the studentship of a reverend teacher who taught them all the dessons and made the diciples as good scholars and experts. It took several years for their proper education. While they returned all of the family including sister “Subadhra” went to Dwaraka. All the yadavas and Gobikas were also want along with Sir Krishna to Dwataka where the atrocities of Asurar and demons could be minimised. Sri BalaRama hed the opportunity to mary the two sisters of the king Dom of Dwaraka. The king of Dwaraka was old and he had no mate children. Dwaraka was in ‘Koorjara’ about one thousand miles towards south west direction of indraprestha. Since rasudeva, the father of Sri Krishna was the most justful and kind hearted person to deal with governing of the country. He was assigned as the king of Dwaraka.Sri Vasu dwa and Devaki only the real father and mother who birth to Sri Krishna. After the prophecy of putting an end to the tyrant king ‘Kamsa’Vasudeva and Devaki had to live only in Madhura – They had a female child called “Subadhra” Sri Krishna’s own sister. The marriage of Sri Krishna and sow. Rukmini took place at Dwaraka only. The family life of Sri Krishna and Rukmini was well with happiness.

Nobility of Rukmini

Even though Rukmini had all the Royal Honours being the wife of Sri Krishna, she was pious and service minded to elders and other servants too. She paid good attention in taking care of all the elders, Sri Vasudeva, Devaki, Sri Balarama and his wives. The family was growing big and the burdons were more. She attended for all the needs of her husband ‘Srikrishna’.

Her kindness and the duti consciousness were noticed by all the people in palace. She never had the fulings of a danghter of a big King dom. She showed her gratitude to goddess ‘Durga’. Only at her temple, divinely happenings of meeting of Sri Krishna took place and she became the affectionate wife of Sri Krishna.

While the days were passing in a fine atmosphere, the marriage affair for “Subhadra” her sister-in-law came. Vasudeva deicussed the matters with ministers in the court hall and asked them to give proper suggestion in choosing a Bridegroom for “Subhadra”.

Sri Balarama stood first and gave his opinion about Thuriyodhana the son of Thrutharastra. The ministers could not give any alternative suggestion in the court hall. Sri Krishna also felt helpless, since his brother’s wish was different.

‘Subhadra’ was actually in love with ‘Prince Arjuna’. She had the good accounts of Arjuna and heard much about his skills through her circle of friends. Brother Balarama was not fully aware of the cunning charactors of the sons of Thruthavasthra. There was one crooked minded man called “Saguni” who was actually spoiling the mind of dhurijodhana ‘Saguni’ was having the plan to ruin the family of pandavas.

‘Subhadra’ was actually worried much and she had no willingness to marry ‘Dhuriyodhana’. Sri Krishna Know well about the desires of “Subhadra’. He soothed his sister and told the “time will come and her wishes will be fulfilled”.

Subhadra – Arjuna Kalyana

Arjuna went on pilgrimage to many places and had the dips in Holly Rivers. He had the opportunity to learn more arts where he visited. On his travel, he had the news about the marriage proposals of ‘Subhadra’. Arjuna and SriKrishna were very close friends. When Arjuna come to Dwaraka, he was just like a Rishi with long hair and heard. He met Sri Krishna who took him to Sri Balarama and introduced him as a saint from riverbed Narmadha arjuna was given the chamber with facilities in the guest apartment.

That day evening Arjuna met “subhadra” as in the form of saint. During their conversation ‘Subhadra’ came to know that she was with her proper person only.

Balarama was on duties to attend the hamlets and other places for the civil work. He was not in palace at that time. Sri Krishna wanted to fulfil the desire of ‘Subhadra’. He arranged the marriage as “Kantharva”. A customs which prevailed in those days that the would be husband, should fix the ring, in the Ring finger of the choosen girl. Like wise the girl should fix it with the finger of male. This was called as Kantharva – Marriage.

Sri Krishna decided to convince all his parents and brother. He gave a charriot with speedy horses to the couple.  The happy send off and the blessings were accepted by Arjuna who drove the chariot to wards the road for ‘indrupreatha’.

The soldiers immediately sent the message to Balarama who ordered his regiment to follow the charriot and bring them alive before him. Where the soldiers were chasing the way and reached the charriot, Arjuna handed over the charge of driving to ‘Subhadra’. She was expert in all the affairs like sword fight and hones riding. Arjuna tactfully controlled all the soldiers and proceeds ahead on the way to “Indraprestha’.

Sri Krishna then told about the desires of his sister to Balarama and explained him that the lovers should be blessed for a long and happy wedded life.

Thus the marriage of “Arjuna”and “Subadhra” happened and their life at ‘Indra Prestha’ stated happily.

The Ancient secrets of " Chakra Therapy" By
Sri Sri Selvam " Siddhar" OF Hindu Temple of Georgia- USA

Chakras are centres of psychic energy located at points along the spinal cord. They are associated with the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and ether. Each chakra corresponds to a specific mantra (sound) and geometric pattern (yantra). Through meditation on these chakras we can gain mastery over our body and each corresponding element.

The human organism is not just a physical composition or structure made of molecules but is also composed of energy fields. These energy fields or the centers of psychic energy are popularly known as chakras. There are seven major chakras which are situated along the spinal cord against the points of five major nerve plexuses and endocrine glands. These chakras are very important for energy balance and perfect synchronization of interior and exterior rhythms or HEF (human energy field) and UEF (universal energy field). Chakras are bioplasmic energy fields composed of ions, free protons and electrons. This state is distinct from four known states of matter i.e. solid, liquid, gases and plasma. Hence chakras are fifth state of matter. The energy field of these chakras can be measured by SQUID, EEG and kirlian photography. A normal developed and opened chakra always spins clockwise and gains pranic energy from UEF while counter-clockwise movement of a chakra makes energy flow out which makes a chakra closed, sick and abnormal.

In Chetna Therapy through constant practice of dhyan (meditation), mantra jap (mantra recitation) and darshan (visualization) one can rebalance the distorted energy system of chakras to be free from diseases. For example, in cancer the Manipur and Visudha chakras lose their protective sheath which can be cured by Chetna Therapy.

Muladhar chakra is a yellow square with four vermilion petals. The square represents earth element related to predominant sense smell and sense organ nose. This chakra governs spinal column and kidneys and effects the functioning of adrenal gland. A well balanced and strong Muladhar chakra gives a strong will to live while a weak and imbalanced chakra gives a tendency to suicide, violent behaviour, inferiority complex and feelings of insecurity. In polio and cerebral palsy this chakra bends towards the side of the healthy leg. Persons dominated by this chakra usually sleep on their stomach between ten to twelve hours daily. In Chetna therapy Muladhar chakra is aroused by chanting of the Bija mantra "Lam" 56 times. This should be followed by colour energy by covering the patient with yellow cloth.

The second chakra, Svadhisthana, is in the form of a circle with a crescent. The colour is light blue. It represents water element related to predominant sense of taste and sense organ tongue. This chakra controls kidneys, bladder, reproductive organs and large intestine of the body and gonad. It is very closely related to the quality of love and sex. If this chakra is normal the person enjoys mental and physical well being. If it is blocked the individual will be impotent with premature orgasm. In AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases Muladhar and Svadhisthana are clogged. Bladder diseases, enlarged prostrate, hydrocele are associated with this chakra. To arouse this chakra one should first of all concentrate on water or by gazing at the crescent moon for half on hour daily. Repetition of Bija mantra "Vam" 51 times daily definitely enhances sexual vigour and vitality. This chakra is also very closely related to the effectiveness of mental activities, attention, concentration and meditation. Keeping a picture of this chakra in front of you and concentrating on it elevates creative and sustaining energy in the individual and a feeling of peacefulness. A person with an active Svadhisthana chakra sleeps eight to ten hours in a foetal position, often pretends to be a prince or hero maintaining high self esteem. For proper functioning of this chakra one should keep fast on ekadashi (eleventh day of lunar month).

The third chakra, Manipur, is in the form of an inverted red triangle located in a circle of ten petals with a golden colour bijakshar (seed). It represents fire element related to predominant sense, sight and sense organ, eyes. This chakra controls liver, pancreas, stomach, spleen, gall bladder, small intestines and sympathetic nervous system. The proper functioning of this chakra is necessary for the digestion and absorption of food. Anger and frustration causes depletion of this chakra energy. Indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer, gall bladder diseases are all associated with a malfunctioned Manipur chakra. Alcohol makes the chakra totally disfunctional. This chakra is also related to the emotional life of an individual. If the chakra is closed and not functioning harmoniously the person will have uncontrolled extremes of emotion which may result in hypertension and adrenal exhaustion. Many times this center acts as a block between heart and sexuality as the center related to health i.e. Anahata is above it and center related to sexuality i.e. Svadishthana is below. If both these chakras are functional and open but Manipur is blocked then a person's sexual life will be without emotional attachment and love and vice-versa. Repetition of Bija mantra "Ram" 108 times daily and wearing a string of rudraksh beads keeps the chakra in harmony and balance. Whenever a person is under heavy stress and tension a mere visualization on this chakra for 5-10 minutes with repetition of seed mantra will give immense soothing effect. Whenever concentrating on this chakra one should concentrate specially on the navel.

The fourth chakra, Anahata, the most important chakra of the body, is in the form of a hexagram of a grey-green colour surrounded by 12 vermilion petals with a golden bijakshara. It represents ailment associated with sense of touch and sense organ skin. Associated with cardiac plexus it controls functions of heart, lungs, thymus and blood circulation. Congestion in Anahata chakra causes heart problem and related diseases. Excess of pranic energy in this chakra causes heart attack. In this case the inner aura may extend up from 6" to 3 feet. Asthma is another example of the hypofunction of this chakra. Within Anahata chakra is an eight petaled lotus in the center of which rests the spiritual heart or anand kanda on the right side very closely related with the physical heart on the left. An increase or decrease in the rate of heart beat serves as a warning signal that there is some abnormality in the anand kanda. The fourth chakra has a lingam also known as banalingam. This lingam radiates golden light and is formed from a mass of tissue in the nerve center at the Anahata chakra clearly visible in kirlian photography. "Om", the unstricken cosmic sound is a wondrous treatment for all heart ailments. Patients can be tremendously benefited by the pure musical tones of "Om". This chakra is also a seat of balance within the body with three chakras above and three chakras below distributing a uniform energy flow in both the directions. The person with an active fourth chakra sleeps from 4 to 6 hours on his left side.

The fifth chakra, Vishudha, is in the form of a crescent of silver within a white circle surrounded by 16 golden petals. It deals with creative energy and sound in the body. It controls voice, oesophagus, vagus nerve, respiratory system, thyroid and parathyroid glands. It represents Akasha element associated with sense of hearing and sense organ ears. Blockage at this chakra causes dumbness, hypofunction of thyroid and sometimes difficulty in swallowing food and water. Sweet and melodious voice of singers is a virtue of harmonized Vishudha chakra. This chakra is also referred to as the professional center because if one is successful and satisfied with his job the center will be full blown. Fear of failure, competition and of not being liked blocks this chakra. Meditation on this chakra gives calmness, melodious voice, leadership traits, command of speech. The seed mantra of this chakra is "Ham", repetition of this mantra 101 times helps to normalize this chakra. Constant meditation on this chakra makes one youthful, free from old age wrinkles or aging defects. The person with active Vishudha chakra sleeps little, generally 6 hours, constantly changing sides.

The sixth chakra, Ajna chakra, is in the form of a white circle with two petals. It controls lower brain, left eye, nose and cerebellum and pineal gland. The seed sound is "Aum". Malfunction of this chakra causes confused mental concepts, mental retardedness and epilepsy. It is very difficult to reactivate this chakra if there is some abnormality because only yogis are able to meditate here and practically it is very difficult for any one to heal it. This chakra and pineal gland are affected directly by waning and waxing cycles of the moon as the Ida (left nostril) and Pingla (right nostril) operate in accordance with these cycles, hence only Pranayam can redistribute the disturbed energy cycle between Muladhara and this chakra.

The seventh and last chakra, Sahasrara, is in the form of a full moon. It controls pituitary gland, brain and right eye. This chakra is related to spirituality and unconscious conscious state. If this center is closed the person probably does not have cosmic feelings (samadhi) which is only associated with yogis. Hence the chakra is rarely used by the common individual.

There are seven major chakras in our body which have been identified with the following nerve plexuses.

Muladhar: in perineum sacrococcygeal nerve plexus
Svadhisthana: four fingers above lumbosacral nerve plexus
Manipur: opposite the umbilicus lumbar plexus
Anahata: over the 6th thorasic spine cardiac plexus
Vishudha: opposite the larynx laryngeal plexus
Ajna: opposite glabella, cerebellum and its lobes
Sahasrara: between third ventricle & pituitary.

    Vastu Shastra

Vastu in Sanskrit means nature , a surrounding or environment. The word "Vaasthu" came from Vasthu , denoting anything existing such as house, shelter building etc. Shastra in sanskrit means systems. Vastu shastra is an ancient art and science containing principles and practices of constructing buildings which ensures a harmonious balance between man and nature and thereby bring all round happiness, health, wealth and prosperity.

Ancient sages of India laid down several principles for constructing buildings taking advantage of the nature, the Pancha Bhootas namely Earth, Space, Air, Fire and water. Gravitational and magnetic effects and rotational influences of Sun, Moon, Earth and other planets on the life in Earth with a view to bring balance and harmony between man, nature and his buildings and thereby ensuring peace, prosperity and happiness. These principles, called Vastu Shastra, were evolved over thousands of years out of experience and foresight of ancient Sages of India and are very valuable for the well being of man-kind. According to Shastras, if we worship, revere and respect the lords of these eight directions, they will shower on us their blessings and benefits.

1 Domestic vastu : Houses, Flat, Bungalow, Kothi, Haveli, etc.

2 Commercial vastu : Office, Shop, Showroom, commercial complex, Hotels, Resorts, Heavy industries, Small scale industries, Hospitals, Nursing home, Clinic, Cinema hall, Theater, Club, Amusement parks, Canteen, School, College.

3 Spiritual vastu : Temple, Math, Rest house , Ponds, spiritual institutions.

4.Vastu dosha, ( premises fault ) : To avoid rules and principles of vastu shastra in chosing land or doing construction on the land and in the interior furnishing and arrangement of concerned room, called vastu dosh ( vastu fault) People paid attention towards it when they get losses in business, down fall, physical problems, hindrances in life, lack of peace of mind. After facing such adverse circumstances they have paid attention towards vastu dosh. Vaastu dosh also plays a significant role in occurrences of problems as well as destiny .
If some one bought a land of vastu Dosh (fault) with lots of short comings and did construction on this land or bought a building or house etc. and in that structure done constructions against the rules of vastu shastra , that structure might result in fatal accident or some other tragic incident. Such disastrous results might come very soon or may get later in life. For example : Bhopal Gas Tragedy in union carbide, Old Fort in Delhi, Fort of Tugleka baad in Delhi - this fort could never survive, these are all the live example of vastu dosh. Now in these days many people face lots or problems and hindrances in their life and business due to the malefic effect of Vaastu Dosh (fault of premises).
