The page you were looking for no longer exists

Today was the day I decided to try something a little traditional blended with todays technology.  So off I went to have some laser therapy using accupuncture points.  My ears have had a laser gun held to various spots, as has my nose, my head and my hands.  The result?

I DONT SMOKE!

It's only been five hours but I've been able to master any mild cravings.  I'm keeping one stinking ashtray.....and I mean stinking!  If I get a craving I just go close to it and almost gag.

I'll keep you informed.

[throws confetti]  Hurray!!  You are the second friend of mine to quit smoking in the past month.  That's great news, botty honey.

That is an interesting blend of technology!  You'll have to let me know if it holds.  I'm a really big believer in accupuncture, so I'm fairly confident that this will help you.

Zayda.....Thank you.  I'm feeling good effects already.

Woman....Thank you, thank you, thank you.  At this rate the Swoon Room is going to become the fresh air room.

MissMimi.... Of the many times I've quit this is the first time that it feels like its genuine and long term.  Thanks.

Lucytorial....It seems to be amazing, thanks.

    Quiet.....Thanks for cheering me on!

Uni.....I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Update...........It's 44 hours right now and I havent lit up.  There are very minimal cravings but they are totally controllable.  Better yet....I'm no more grouchy than usual.  My appetite is up but we'll deal with that later.  A few extra pounds compared to smog free is no problem.

TERRIFIC!!! (and I do NOT believe that you are a grouchy person!)

    That's great, botty!  It's so wonderful that you will be smoke-free.  {{{{{hugs}}}}}

Off topic...Annual _____ Family Lobstah Feast is this weekend and we're not going.  We're having an open house.  I don't eat it anyway.  But, if you'd like directions to NH, I'm sure my family would be happy to have you.
  • botoni said on Aug 14, 2008....

Woman......You are non-believer?  Please dont let the secret out.  I've been aspiring to replace Walter Mathau with you as Sophie Loren.

    MissMimi......I'm plumb thrilled.

Daily.....Thank you!  I'm mighty excited.  Darn,  I with I could get away to NH.   I wanna go try my charm on your mother.  l have a way with 'mature' women.....

  • woman said on Aug 14, 2008....
Botoni~your secret is so safe. Not to worry. Walter huh? I can see it. And Sophie, of course. You're brilliant.
  • dailyachesandpains said on Aug 14, 2008....
Bottie:  PFFFT!  Nobody can help that woman...my mother.  Thanks for offering.  You might want to warm up to one of my cousins :P  Oh, and the newest breaking news in the family is that ANOTHER "Catholic" cousin is getting divorced!!!  MWA-hahaha!  I'm only happy because it takes any and all attention away from ME and my problems LOL!  The "Aunts" better get used to their "Catholic" children being in the current day and not their day when divorce was a big deal...it still is to them.  I want to see how long it takes them to start speaking to him again.

You're always welcomed to come next year, Botti!  I'll be glad to take you.  OR, I could TRY to send you one to cook in your new kitchen!  Can that go over the border?

Woman.....We'll be the hit of stage and screen let alone St. Thomas.

Daily......I do understand.   Divorce was a huge issue in my family for religious reasons also.  The "Aunts" didnt tell anyone when their children got divorced.  We had to find out through the grapevine.  It was almost as if they didnt admit it then it would go away.  We'll have to look at next year for the lobster gathering......sounds good.

  • botoni said on Aug 16, 2008....
Ed....Thank you.  I would regularly smoke about 30 - 35 cigarettes a day but that was only for 50 years.  I remain smoke free.
