As I was checking the stats on my other blog this morning, I discovered that Google has translated it into Spanish.  It can now be found in Spanish search engines.

How cool is that?

I don't know how or why this happened, but it has me smiling from ear to ear.  I can reach many more people.  It seems they started translating some of my entries sometime this morning.  I don't know if this is their standard operating procedure or if I had to reach some milestone for it to happen.

Regardless, it's a very fun way to start my work day.

You can go here if you would like to see what it looks like in Spanish.  If you prefer English, you can go here.

I love being bilingual.  :-D   Es muy bueno.

    Mimi,
Muchas gracias!  Mi habla un pocito  espanol.

It's a good thing I don't have to do the complete translation myself because you wouldn't think of me as such a creative woman.  :-)

    Wish,
Well, I don't speak Spanish all that well myself.  I speak it just well enough to be dangerous.  I read it much better. lol.  You are blessed to be bilingual in your parents home and as a counselor.  Muchas gracias, mi amiga.

LOL, CW - I am so glad your blog has been translated and will be able to reach and assist more people.  I didn't realize you weren't actually bilingual.  What I said was that I didn't know you also spoke Spanish.  I need to practice especially since my grandma passed away.  My parents like to speak English in the house now, but it makes me sad because my grandparents language has always been a comfort (servio de consuelo) for me.  I'm not really that fluent either!

Congratulations, my friend, and keep up the good work - Wishy

That is neat!  Very bueno.  I wonder if it's user driven and you've caught the eye of a spanish speaking audience?

    Wishy,
LOL...I got that mixed up, didn't I?   I know a few phrases in Spanish, but it's been a long time since my high school Spanish class and I am not fluent anymore because I have not used it.  Thank you for the encouragement.  Google has taken it upon themselves to translate the blog.  :-)

    daily,
    Thank you.  :-)   ((((hugs))))

    UI,
I'm not sure how or why Google decided to do the translation.  You could be right.  I think it's a good assumption, but I really don't know.  Maybe time will tell. I feel honored by it though.

    now that's just cool!

having said that, there's proportionately a whole lot more people zooming around the 'net who speak chinese. if google can do that, that'll do you even more good!

    Ed,
It's funny you should mention that.  When I did the Craigs List ads, I placed one in Hong Kong and have gotten several hits from it.  It will be interesting to see if Google will translate my blog into other languages as well.  I suppose the translation is probably profit driven on their part and it will be interesting to see where else they think I might earn them money.  lol  I'm not complaining about the trickle down effect though.  :-D
