Secret life got me thinking today(thanks Secret) and remembering my childhood and smells. These are my memories by smell, I just wondered which smells from your child hood make you smile whistfully and pull you back there.Let me know

Wet dogs drying out in front of a woodfire in the kitchen.
Wall flowers on a summers evening.
Rain on hot pavements.
Channel NO 5 (My mum on a night out)
My clothes (and me) smelling of horses.
My little sister after bathtime
Toast burning in front of the fire.
The smell of wooden packing cases.

Hope you smile when you list yours
x

A motor oil/garage smell. I associate it with positive memories of my dad.

Most of the time, my dad was/is an ass.

honestly, i've always liked the smell of cut grass, myself: that one always makes me think childhood. so does the smell of railroad ties: it reminds me of school playgrounds, you know?

I had to buy another pack of cigarettes this morning, not really knowing why I did because just recently I was praying so hard to God to help me quit…and I did-for about 3 moths....
If I only knew then what I know now.
Maybe E and I would have played hide and seek instead. : )...
I remembered....
We are going to New Mexico for Xmas...
