Sometimes life just wont cut you a break!......So, some of you may know that one of my daughters is getting married at the end of the month, and I am catering it.....so obviously there is plenty to do.....the shower is next saturday....I have a chore list I have to complete before then, as does my wife......but now, the other day my mother in law was admitted to the hospital for what seems to be a groin pull or something like that....she is 85 and doesn't heal very quickly.....so now we have to decide how to take care of her......my wifes sister lives with her, but has to work during the day.....my wife is already stressed about the wedding, and now this?
I would love to just experience 1 year of life without stress....is that even possible?
I know there are plenty of others who have it worse.....but come on already!

life is hard too! Inconvenient and hard. Breathe....take the list of chores to do and divide it out into days...factor in your mil and what can be done while caring for her and chunk by chunk you may whittle down the list to manageable pieces. Good luck and try to have some fun with the chaos!! -

You've got your plate full and overflowing! You might check at the hospital to see if there is a social worker who can offer some advice/assistance. Where I live there is homecare available for cirucumstances like this. I hope there is at least some temporary assistance available until some of your scenarios play out. -

well....it looks like my other daughter is going to be available to take care of her......so crisis averted .....now.....if i can just get through the wedding.....I opened my mouth last night and told my wife I can make tuxedo strawberries too :( .....I need an assistant that I can instruct to shoot me when I open my mouth!

she's in a nursing home right now....looks like she will be going to assisted living in a couple of weeks....I think she will like that.....Thanks for asking ed!
