The page you were looking for no longer exists

Today Dan. Olia and Dasha left for their camping trip.  They were all happy and excited.  Yesterday we looked all over for Dasha's sneakers, but they were nowhere to be found!  We called the home of the other family who Dasha stayed with, but they searched and couldn't find them either.  So I guess they will eventually show up somewhere.  After spending a week with Dasha, I know that Dan is going to feel more bonded to her and feel worse when she leaves..  I told him to be glad that there is a nice family who loves her and is planning to adopt her.  Many kids go back to Ukraine without a family interested in hosting them again or in adopting them.  Dasha is leaving with the best possible outcome.  A nice family loves her and wants her to be part of their family.  Dasha even looks like she could be their biological child. I am happy for her, but still have a sad pang about not adopting her.  I just know the best thing for her would be to be part of the other family; they love her and the mom stays at home so she has a lot of time to guide her and help her catch up.  Today Dasha told me that she really likes Miss..........., and that Miss................ is so nice to her. I think they are a perfect fit. They are moving so I won't get to see Dasha, but at least I know she will be happy and be loved.
The house is so QUIET without Olia and Dasha around!  Renee and I actually had time to have an adult conversation without interruptions.
