  A binge that produces a hangover isnt necessarily a bad thing but you need to know that drinking to take away the pain is going to lead to more and bigger problems.  Forgive Tony AND go back with him?  My first question is "Are you nuts?"  With that cruel statement being said consider the idea that the same process will repeat if you go back with him.  Depression is tough one.  Maybe seeing a counsellor will help or at the very least talk to a doctor about it and see what is recommended.  You can survive this and you can learn not to repeat it with Tony or any other abusive partner.

  My mom's been in an abusive relationship for 36 years, though it's verbal and emotional now instead of the physical abuse she endured in the early years.  Trust me when I say that you don't want that. . .

  Please please dont go back to him, give yourself time to think, listen to your friends, ask them to be honest, give yourself more time to think.
  very rarely do abusive partners stop at once!
  Please please take care and protect yourself, value your self and a very tough hard lesson I learned is "you get treated the way you let yourself be treated", I used to say yeah, yeah to that, it took me a long time to really think about itand understand it.
  You are the most importnat person in all of this.
