generations 3

I managed to get the generations pictures done.  Whew!  I've discovered another great grandmother since, but will put her in later.  I thought the beach was fitting.

update: got great grandma added to the right.

Interesting background.  Very appropiate for the photo. Generations may come and go - time and tides wait for no one.

U-I - This is absolutely amazing!  You did a great job with this.  It's so interesting.  I wish you could do an exhibit or something.  Have you considered it?

This is very unique, unique. A space for number six on the left, right?

Wow that is great. I first noticed that 2,4 and 5 bear a likeness and then 3, 6 and 7. Great job. I don't know about 1. but having the sea behind them is a good and symbolic idea.

good job uniquely.  I do know the work it takes to do this.  I did it with my brothers wedding photos.  You did a great job!!  :)

polar - thanks, it definately was one of a kind.  I will keep the file so that as new generations come along I can add them.

scipio - that's an interesting thought about the background.  Honesty, I choose it because so many of these generations lived here by the ocean.

WYWH - I don't know that I have enough really good pieces to do an exhibit, but if the opportunity presented it's self I'd do it.

BTV - I actually need to add my paternal great grandmother to the right side.  The left side is very bare.  I have very few pictures of my mother's side of the family due to the war.

Mamie - It was all the product of Adobe Photoshop and a few hours of work.  I'd be happy to help you out with your project.  I find manipulating digital photos very relaxing.

    bot - thanks *blushes*

queenie - thank you.  I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

skald - I think I look a lot like my maternal grandmother (next to me) and my mathernal great grandmother. (on the very far right)

quietone - thanks, yes it is pains taking work.  I may still futz with it, but for the most part it's done.

You are absolutely right. Is it your daughter next to you?

That turned out really cool :-) I can definitely see how much work you put into that! What an interesting idea too. You did a good job!

ET - thanks.  It was a lot of work, but I really like how it turned out.

She is beautiful. She has Blonde and black hair and she is such a princess. She has been home only the last couple of weeks and already is spoiled. I think my husband likes her better than the rest of us.
