This morning I sliced fresh fruit for all of the girls Miriam, Renee's friend was still staying with us. Olia loves having Miriam around because she will swim with her and go on the trampoline with her. Miriam is a vegan; she doesn't eat anything made with any animal or milk products. Feeding her can be a challenge, but fortunately we purchased a lot of fruits and vegetables when we went food shopping yesterday. Ukrainian children love fresh fruit, even more than candy. After the five girls had breakfast, they all went on the trampoline. I could hear them chatting and laughing. Olia's and Dasha's accents drifted toward the house. Dasha keeps learning more and more English which I am so happy about. After the trampoline, the five girls went swimming. Katelyn was still at our house and she also loves hanging with the older girls! Later Olia, Dasha and I did our normal everyday chores. Dasha just loves using Windex. We have probably gone through two bottles of Windex sinceDasha has been here. She just loves squirting the Windex bottle! Olia and Dasha eat so much food, even though they are both very slim. I just don't know where they put it all! I think because they are both active that they just burn it off quickly. I wish I had their metabolism.
My sister was away for a few days. Olia and I had stopped at her house. She does not have pierced ears and she always stuck up for Olia when I would bug Olia to get them pierced. She called today and Olia was excited to tell her about getting her ears pierced! Olia offered to give her all of her clip earring!
Last night the girls watched the BEE MOVIE. Dasha giggled throughout most of it, she told me that she knew the movie so she must have seen it in Ukraine.
