I want you to imagine you're going on a long trip but there's a chance to run an rpg campaign along the way and with some new players who've never gamed before. Only you can't bring a lot - there just isn't the room. You have to pack your gaming gear as small as possible. Maybe one full-sized book.
If it was up to you, what system would you use and why?

my own dice, first & foremost!
me, i'd pack up villains & vigilantes, a ruleset that is IMHO unrivaled for its ability to handle houserules. i'd pack my dice of course, as well as my V&V setting docs. my materials do not lend themselves to compact packing any more than other docs, to be honest, but i'd certainly give it the old college try!

Eurekame - an RPG campaign is a role playing game (like dungeons and dragons) with a theme. A single game is like a short story, but a campaign is a series of games that build on the previous ones, not unlike a novel.ed - We can all try, but there's got to be a way to make it smaller. PDFs are one way to do it but you need tech for that. Tech's ok but a better book might be what I'm looking for. -
