  Hey Queen!  That first paycheque is always exciting.  You've done very well to spread it around and your hair looks terrific!  My first pay?  I had a phone installed in my mom and dads house.

  Paychecks make all the hassle worth it, don't they?  You seem to have done well with it--and it's nice that you paid your debts also.  I don't remember that far back...ha...but it was probably clothes and make-up!  Oh, I did buy a Pugeut (sp?) 10-speed bicycle.....which  I never learned how to use the gears on very well!  Ha...

  my first pay was cash and I was a saver when I was a teen... I saved all summer and then bought school clothes with it.  queenie, you are a beautiful young woman!  I think your hair looks nice the way it is, but also think it would look great no matter what!  :)

  You're so responsible with your paycheck!  I don't remember what I did with my first paycheck.  I think I applied it toward the purchase of a flute.  Of course I think I also spent some on candy and makeup. (I was a teenager)

  How pretty you look and what a good job you did spreading that check around. Let's see, my first paychecks were almost 45 years ago and my mom held out her hand and I put them in it! When I fist moved out and worked there wasn't much left but I remember some shopping trips buying shoes!!! AND I remember the very first Christmas when I was working. I was the happiest girl around, buying really nice gifts for everyone. It did, indeed, make it worthwhile.

  If I think about my very first paycheque it was when I was 12 and I was delivering a weekly real estate newspaper (appropriately named The Real Estate Weekly). I got $25 and though my mother said I would be saving most of the money after the first pay, I was permitted to use the very first cheque to my liking. I bought a big stuffed Garfield (the cat) doll which I still have in storage in Canada.

  we do all the same thing pay the bills, give some to are parents and the rest is ours then enjoy... but we have are own way of doing things so lets spend it wisely :)

  sis: heh...my first ever paycheck, i gave it to my parents. in my culture, that's something that kids do for their parents, as a token "thank you" for having raised us.
