I got a booster shot. There are 2 engineers that work in the engineering room. I'm going to call them Frick & Frack. Whenever i have trouble with one of my machines i run to them and they tell me if i have an engineering problem or if i have a machine problem. They can be shit heads, but they're good. If it's a machine problem, i have to figure it out and try and fix it. Last night i went intto the engineers shop and saw Frick & Frack sitting in chairs by the pc. I walked up and said, "are you guys on break?"  Frick said, "no, we're just sitting here talking about engineering stuff".  I handed my product defect to him and asked him, "will you look at this, because the defect is still there." He started examining it and Frack said, " how would you like to be assistant manager?" That totally floored me. I started yelling at him, "if i were the assistant manager, i would kick everybody's asses." I said this while waving my arm in an arc to indicate all the people in the factory. Then, I said, "I would make everybody get up off their lazy asses." I may have overdone it with the 'asses' thing. Oh well, i was hot, sweaty, and about ready to kick somebody's ass. In retrospect, I don't think i should have said that. It sounds so lame. Oh, yeah, then he said, "we're nominating you." wow what a feeling. In the future i'll have to watch it with my language. I hope i didn't mess things up. I've been working hard for this promotion.
