Since the 1880's there have been about 200 Bible versions put on the market. Today, we get about two new Bible versions every year. Each new Bible version has a copyright (in order to get the profit) and at least 200 changes have to be made to the text in order to get that copyright.
The KJV has the crown copyright on the text, meaning no one can copy it, anywhere and anytime. The NIV, for example, has 64,567 words taken away (8% of the text) compared to the KJV. There are over 300 verses that have been deleted or altered in the newer Bible Versions and there are many changes that have been made in the newer Bible versions that do affect essential doctrines of the Bible.
Did you know that the same publishing company for the NIV also owns the copyright of the Satanic bible and makes profit from both....read my prior blog on that. Did you also know that many so called Christian publishing companies are really owned by secular companies because Christians have sold out...also veggie tales children series, never mentions Jesus anymore. The god of mammon is being served rather than Jesus Christ. Do you not understand the times you are living in. Wake up!
The sleeping virgins (called themselves Christians awaiting the lords return) were left behind. They did not prepare themselves because Jesus was not their first love. They had a form of godliness but no power...lamps out of oil. Alas, they were asleep....closed their eyes to what was happening around them.
Although God's Word is unchanging and is forever settled in heaven men are altering his word on earth. Satan comes to steal the word...he is a very clever enemy and can deceive if it were possible, but praise God it is not,the very elect of God. It is God by his Spirit who keeps us in the truth,and those of the truth will hear his voice regardless of what version they are reading. However, God does call people to warn his church of impending danger in order to keep them safe. By posting on bible versions it is now up to you to make that decision.
