It's so easy to get back to the habit of thinking about bad things. I mean there's so much violence in this world now a days.  It seem like all that the media cares about is when something horrific happens. Then they make sure that everyone knows about it. I had to stop watching so much of the news channel. I have enough anger issues to begin with. When i hear of senseless acts of murder, I get angry. Is it me? Doesn't it seem like it's happening a lot? There seems to be a lot of kids doing bad things. I can't listen to that kind of talk anymore.
I'm sorry, i just can't handle it. I'm not a very good conversationalist. I don't keep up with current events very much. I sound so pathetic. I stick my head in the sand. But, I need to deal with my own problems,  Then, who knows, I may start a foundation to help     Americas' leaders of tomorrow. Our children are our most treasured treasures.               They are our future and they deserve our respect. To get, you have to give.

    day,

i get what you mean, sometimes the news gets me down also. i think bad things have been happening for years, but the media in years past didnt print it all. especially so in small towns- it still exisits today. there were 65 dropped off's of bodies a year in the county i grew up in, but no one every knew about them. (it was a coastly by-way, so like 4 freeways met there; combined with the wooded area...). there were like 45 active serial killers in nor-cal alone when i was in high school. i think they make a big hooopa over the stuff that seems like it doesnt matter...when some issues should be pushed more so. so you have the knowlege to protect yourself.

as for the anger issues, i saw a hypnotherpist (sp?)-whhewww werid word to spell. it really worked for me. finding your happy place in you really works. and building your self cofidence always helps to...

    :)

    Hi, and thanks for visiting.

You know, that averages out to be about one every five days. Good God, that's a lot of drop off's of bodies.  Did you know that was happening when u were in HS?  I couldn't even imagine hearing that kind of shit when i was a kid.  I mean I just never heard about really bad stuff..... way back when!

I have a happy place.  No hypnotherpist's allowed.  (that is a weird word.) :)

And, my self confidence did get a boost. Last night at work........

    day,

    no prob.

i did know that was happening while in hs unfortunately. i worked at the da's office in town, a internship. (i thought i wanted to be a lawyer)! that ended the first week i was there.

*side note: they would keep the bodies in the morgue for 2 years in case someone would figure out who they were. or if they diidnt have a family,  and knew who they were we would also keep them there. after the 2 years they would cremate them, and put them in a box about 8 by 8. there were a stack of them againist the wall in the old courthouse...creppy! after 5 more years in the box they would just throw the box away! every year that i was there i had to go down and get em'. but i would take them back in the woods and spread the ashes. i just couldnt let them go in the trash. exactly what someone tried to do to them.

wheww. did you get flirted with at work? hehe!

    hi ed,

I'm glad ur back home.  Yeah, there is so much violence. And, guess what i did?      I wrote a blog about a damn bus wreck that happened down the road.       So much sadness. I can feel it.

    I'll snap out of it.

So, did u meet any interesting old codgers?

i did see those blog entries, but i'm afraid i was short on time so i couldn't read them properly, sadly. :<

as to old codgers--beyondtheveil did a blog entry a week or so ago about on the topic. i used to have a friend, an older gentleman, whose poor health took him from the mrs and me some years back. his birthday is coming soon, actually, and we will drink to his memory. i miss him still, miss his stories, wisdom & general zaniness, truth be told.
