Long established motorcycle dealership The Dirt Bike Factory, has taken over the franchise of KTM distribution from David Fraser motorcycles in the greater Wollongong and Illawarra area.
The Dirt Bike Factory is well renowned for its jet ski sales through Seadoo, and started dirt bike distribution in 2002. Growth of the dealership saw dealer principal, Anthony Gunter given the rights to distribute European brand Husaberg in 2005 and now sister company KTM.

Owned and operated by three times Australian Mr Motocross Champion, Gunter, the Dirt Bike Factory has also long been associated with the development of dirt bike sports in the Wollongong area.

It was in this store that reigning Pro Lite Supercross Champion, Ryan Marmont of Towradgi, completed his apprenticeship before turning pro to join the Motorex KTM Racing Team. Ryan and his older brother Jay have been supported by the Dirt Bike Factory since they rode pee wee bikes right up to when they initially joined the Motorex KTM Racing Team.

The Dirt Bike Mini Dirt Bikes Factory will carry a complete range of KTM mini bikes, motocross, and enduro motorcycles, and will look to hold an official launch when all 2009 models arrive on the shop floor.

Anthony Gunter comments, "We're really excited to now carry KTM, and our customers are showing great interest in the brand, particularly with the EXC off-road range.

"The shop is also looking to carry a complete range of genuine KTM spare parts, power parts and power wear to compliment the off road motorcycle range.

"We pride ourselves on customer service at the Dirt Bike Factory and this extends to our workshop expertise. Our mechanics have a sound knowledge of KTM and Husaberg motorcycles ensuring clients achieve maximum performance levels from their bike purchase, and we also provide a fully equipped WP service centre."
