The page you were looking for no longer exists

This morning at 5 am, when I was fixing myself a cup of coffee, I could SWEAR that I saw  something small move very quickly across my area rug in the dining room.  Now the area rug is black with lots of tiny colorful flowers on on it and I am thoroughly exhausted, a bit nervous for an interview I have today for a "real job", and it was dim without the lights on in the dining area.

But still, I really think a large bug (I get these "silverfish" bugs - the type that are like millipedes with millions of legs every so often, but haven't seen one in a year or so) skittered across the carpet.  So I threw on all of the lights in my apartment, grabbed a pair of shoes to put on my bare feet and kicked away the boxes of stuff leaning against the wall where i thought the critter had gone.  I am in the process of collecting all the stuff I no longer need, can wear, want, etc to donate to charity.

Now, I am sitting here, paranoid that some bug is going to come crawling up and say "hello"....... help!!!

Can't help with the bug from here, but I would help you track it down and swat it if I was there....ha.   Good luck on the interview!  And good for you for going through your clothes to donate.

Hi Wombie!!!  How are you?  Thanks for the offer of help - It's 8 am and still no sign of critter -  maybe I imagined it?  Will continue to update during day....

Oh YUCK!  Sorry goddess, I freak when I see bugs.  I'm OK if they are sitting still, but if they are skittering or flying, I lose it totally.

Best of luck - I hope your job interview went well - Wish

Hey Wish!  I have no idea how the interview went!  They seemed to like me, but were so non-committal at the end.  So, I am left hangin' . . .We shall see!

    I am better than I was at 5:00 p.m.  One day at a time.....ha.

You never are sure how an interview went until you get the second call...or the next one as ever how it goes with them......just hope you get the job if you want it and it "fits" your life.

(Putting on my shoes just in case I need to step on a bug....I am good at stomping! ... .ha!)

All you have to remember is that the critters are more scared of you than of them.

RC - I know that to be true (and I am also probably as ugly to them as they are to me) but still they make my skin crawl... bleeeech!!

5 am the next day and still no bug to be seen..... Maybe he decided my apartment was n't the place to be..... or maybe I am just going nuts.....

Well - I still haven't seen the bug I thought I saw, but about 10 seconds ago, a baby silverfish just ran across my wall - too fast for me to catch it but I have just informed all of the bugs (out loud, mind you) that they have till I get home tonight to get out of my house or face the consequences.....SQUISH
