There is a magical feeling that you truly feel when you cross over from the mainland to the shores of the Atlantic....in New Jersey!
Ever since I was a little girl, we have vacationed at Jersey shore towns. You have heard songs about how great it is from Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bonjovi....they can capture the peaceful, loving feelings that are right there for the taking at the shore. Or Sheryl Crow crankin on the radio with "Soak Up the Sun" will do the trick...you open all the windows....let the warm, breezy shore-ness seep into your body, mind and spirit. It is as good as a session at a spa, as fun as any world-wide adventure....I love it!
So I think I will go there today. I am taking you with me and will send up a prayer for your happiness and wellness when I first dip my toes in the Atlantic Ocean...I will cross the bridge, leave behind all worries and any troubles we may have talked about recently. We will throw all caution to the wind and let the sound of the waves wash away any anxiety we have felt.
This is the glory of "going to the shore" and truly the magic of crossing that bridge.
