I know I've said that my turtle is dysfunctional, and at the time I was commenting on the little one...but this came from the older male...
But this...this is crazy. At first I thought it was just my turtle going to the potty...but BOY WAS I WRONG!!
It was his PENIS! It was kinda cute actually...shaped sorta like a spade...

As I was responding to Lucy, I realized I should give you some more info (I don't want any of you thinking dirty thoughts about me and my babies, you hear!!!)
I was cleaning out the tank, cuz I just bought them a nice treat of feeder fish for them to enjoy. JC (that's his name) has been kind of harassing Holly (the female turtle) lately. And with a baby turtle around, I didn't want them to think I was neglecting them. Anyway, they tear into the fish and make a mess.
So there I am. I've finished setting up Reb Berry's (the baby turtle) tank, just put back JC and Holly's tank, and I'm picking up the two from the tub to put them back. The moment I lift JC out comes the penis. Not knowing what it was, and thinking he needed a few more minutes in the bathroom, I take Holly back to her tank and come back for JC.
He's hanging out in the sink and when I lift him up again, out comes the penis AGAIN. So I hold him up and wait. The longer I hold him, the more that comes out. I'm thinking, "Boy, guess the fish didn't agree with him..."
Thing is, it never detaches, so I'm shaking JC, trying to help him along...even turn on the water, thinking that might help. But every time I move him, it goes back in. Eventually I just stand really still and I start thinking, "Hold on...can this POSSIBLY be what I think it is??"
I turn JC around slowly, and I touch it, of course back in it goes. But he pokes it out again, and it touches my finger. Now here's the interesting part...
He starts to push it out onto my finger...it was oddly soft...so of course I tell my cousin to take out her camera and snap a picture so I can document it, and if I discover that this event is abnormal, I'll have something to show the vet.
All I can say is that JC seemed to enjoy it!!

Lucy, I kid you not! I even looked it up, it was his penis (I want to be respectful to him and not call it a peepee...seeing how he's a big boy now).
I held him up, and out it came...at first I just kind held him like that, shaking him a bit, but then I realized it wasn't coming loose, cuz it was his baby making tool...
That poor female is gonna have it rough...maybe he'll pull it out for me again...
