How to Change the Starter on a First Generation Dodge Neon?1.Make sure the car's engine is cold. Do not attempt this repair on a car that's been running recently.2.Remove the battery, battery terminals and the battery box. Loosen the bolts that hold the battery box in place. There should be 8 altogether. Not all of them have to come completely out, as the battery box has slots that slide around them.3.Disconnect the radiator hose. Loosen the four fan bolts holding the fans in place. They are located along the top.4.Pull the fans out and locate the 2 starter wires. One of them unclips. Remove the other with a socket wrench.

While reading Ferrari Stories I remembered that during the summer of 1967 I worked as the summer relief doorman/elevator operator at an apartment building called The Edgewater on East 72nd Street.
