This morning I had a very vivid dream just as I was waking up. In the dream I was feeling depressed because I felt I had accomplished nothing of great importance in my life. (I am in my 80th year.)
And then I realized that a beautiful scene -- in particular I thought of a beautiful mass of flowers -- is made up of a LOT of little individual flowers-- you could take one out and not miss it at all. But all together they make an impressive display!
So a lot of us humans are like that. Individually, many of us have done nothing spectacular, but all -- or many of us together -- can accomplish or contribute something of great significance to the world.
