how do you conquer some ones shyness?
 
i mean really i dont even get a hello, or a typical guy nod of the head the minute we are around people!
 
i dont mind too much, but it just makes me feel a little bit silly? 
i mean im here rabitting on about how nice a day, and been a girl have had the typical girly chats about it all and then bang he barely acknowledges me!  everyone knows its just because of how shy he is, he really isnt just been a dick but it just puts me in an awkward position!
 
so what do i do?
 
do i walk up to him say hi? force hime to acknowledge my presence or do i leave it up to him to take the chair next to me in a sly fashion?  baring in mind this takes him about an hour to do so!
 
we arent serious and i dont really want it to be and over all im still on cloud 9 with life in general but this is kinda niggling at me a little bit! just as it would with anyone- wether it was a new friend or a work colleague i saw out and about...
 
its just some advice that will come in useful in the future if anyones got any suggestions...

    ah, shyness, I do understand as I can be very shy myself at times in RL.  about the chair thing... I would just say hey, you can sit here if you'd like.  Make a move, but don't scare him by being too over enthusiastic if you know what I mean.  If all you want is to have a really good friend then treat him as if he already is.  :)  Good luck.

    i agree with quietone......you'll have to make the moves but be careful not to scare him away until he gets more comfortable around you.
    but "hi" is a really good way to start.....who cares who says it first?

    yeah i was thinking that, the thing is he is really enthusiastic when ever we are alone its just sort of awkward in front of people, and everyone knows whatr is going on between us witch makes it more awkward oooooft its a stress! lol
