hey everyone.

currently seeking major help!! as some of you may know, i meet foreign people everyday. usually, i never have communication issues because their level of english is a 4-5 (pre-intermediate to intermediate level).  i currently have a japanese girl living with me who has a level of 1-2 (elementary level). i am finding it rather difficult to communicate simple things with her like how to shut the door or take a seat at the table. i can speak a littl japanese so i do translate when i get desperate but she is here to learn english so i don't want to encourage speaking japanese in the house. i already know that she is not a visual learner so how else can i communicate to her?! please help me out here!! she will only be living with me for a short time but i have a few japanese students lined up to live with me once she has left.

thanks in advance to anyone who comments.

kind regards

miss monash

Take it easy. It is going to take some time. Be patient with her. Sometimes you may have to emphasize some words to get her attention.

    good luck
