Adda was at a goose party on Saturday. Her friend is getting married, Of course she has some children and she and her husband to be have been living together for years, This is only common here.
In the evening they went to a place called Argentina steak house and had a very fancy dinner. There Adda met Mel Gibson. she and some girls went out side and there he was standing talking on the cell. The girls were giggling and he said to them sorry and smiled. Meaning he was on the phone. That was all.
A lot of stars come here and often because they can be private people here no one bothers them even though they are recognized . That is only a part of being from such a small populations where every one knows every one anyway.

That is so cool that your friend saw him in person! What's sad about it is to have to live that way....travel far and wide to find places where you can just be yourself. But I am one of those people who would go ga ga over seeing a big star up close, especially unexpectedly. -

that is pretty cool I would say! Here if he had been noticed, which I am sure he would have been..... he probably would have been mobbed by people/fans and the poparzzis too. I like the way your people handle these things. I saw it at the hot dog stand that day! I think I would have had to at least say "hi". Most stars that are filming in this area are seen out and about are pretty much left alone too.. we acknowlege who they are and nod and that is about it. :) -

I like that they noticed him but weren't impolite and didn't intrude. It's only common courtesy, something that is sadly lacking in the way that celebrities are treated over here.
But Mel Gibson... I would probably giggle and blush too. :)

Ed. I think Adda liked him. Goose party is a party where the girls take the bride out to be. Her friend will get married to morrow. this is not an Icelandic custom but has been adopted here by the young people. You might call it something else.
