Dee, think about that for a second....times up....... ; ) !
How about those Drive Ins you must have enjoyed growing up ! The signs of intermission and the trip to the concession bar...almost with a County fair's type atmosphere,.... it must have been awesome.
I did enjoy a drive In, but not one with the speaker on the window ledge, the audio came by turning into a am frequency on the cars radio .... and with some sound systems out there these days, you need not even turn yours on in order to hear, odds are the pimpled faced kid next door has a kick ass system anyways...hehe
But too many pregnancies and alcohol related deaths (car wrecks) brought that southern County to its heels and drive In's became null and void as unneeded in society....
Like dodge ball, odds are my kids will never enjoy a game of dodge ball. ...unless I make it happen for them, not sure about that part of it, but they do a fine job of dodging me, especially when they are guilty. :)...cute, but kids are not unable to read Mom or Dad...they have had a life time to observe them..... learning a parent....101 (title for a blog ?)
Perhaps it was time for the driving forces { pun intended } behind Drive Ins was but issss.... no longer an American pastime....
Speaking of time...ya know the air seemed to have a tint of autumn in it....that fresh crisp morning when the air is just right, not hot, not cold...just...mmmmmm, fresh !
You have a virtual library up there Dee, just stop reminding yourself to forget some the best times in your life.... : ) W/Right On !

I knew it would happen eventually. I can't say the thought hadn't crossed my mind, not that I feel that way but that it's an inevitable part of the process.
