A Place Called Lonely Street
By Me…
All of my life I felt Lonely
All of my life I felt alone,
I had no one I thought I could talk to
Including those who lived inside my home.
And when I went to school
Kids just laughed at me.
But you know just how cruel
Kids can be.
Then I found some friends
Yes, I found some friends
But they weren’t
The kind of friends they should be.
They led me to the street
Called lonely street
Lonely street Is where
I sold my soul.
I did things I didn’t want to do.
I said things I didn’t want to say.
I’m still living down on lonely street.
I can’t seem to go the other way.
Listen all you children everyone
You don’t have to do what I have done.
You don’t have to go to Lonely street
You don’t have to go where I have gone.
It may be too late too help me,
But there are other children to free.
There out on that road to lonely street
That’s not a very nice place to be.
Yes, they’re out there on lonely street,
I know, because it happened to me….
