Yes, I did it! I finally went out to the cinema on my own for the first time ever because, being a closet Abba fans from way, way back,  I really, really wanted to see Mamma Mia.

And once the film began it didn't matter that I was on my own as I concentrated and became involved in the story. In fact it was probably for the best as I sang along to almost every song. ;-)

I was shocked to discover how well Meryl Streep sings and the others weren't anything like as bad as they could have been and yes, the story is kind of corny but I enjoyed it. Immensely.
