I was given some vouchers last week as a thank you gift so decided to go out and spend them today.
I mooched around one store and eventually chose two pairs of jeans from the one store at a bargain price of £25 for both which leaves me the same amount to spend on another occasion and then went on to the other store.
This time I wandered up to the underwear department as with my weight loss I've gone down a size and my whites have acquired that greyish tinge they always seem to and I was hoping to find some more relaxed undies now that I'm not living down to DH's expectations.
I spent ages walking up and down the aisles and eventually managed to find some 'practical, every day but not too revolting' bra and knickers sets but I was disappointed that there wasn't anything that I'd describe as lingerie that didn't look like scaffolding in my size.
And I found a very pretty shorts and camisole pair of PJs in turquoise which I liked very much so added those to the basket too. =)
So my pocket is a little lighter but I can now go out and not be embarrassed by my undies were I to be required to strip for any reason. <g>

Fallyn, I'm of a certain size that requires a less flimsy amount of support but manufacturers seem to equate support with seriously unattractive, hence my scaffolding reference. -

ahhhhhh, okay, now this makes sense.
i find those "scaffolding" things to be exceptionally uncomfortable...not to mention ugly.

good for you!! Every woman needs something she feels good in. I know what you mean about the "scaffolding" though. It would seem that if you have anything larger than a mosquito bite to support that the means of support start taking on industrial appearances ;) -
