Don untied his bed roll from his saddle and layed it out close to the fire. He was feeling a chill in the air and a longing for sara. As he drifted off to sleep his thoughts were on his trip to town tomorrow. He asked himself why he still searched for her in every town's saloon in Nevada. She could be anywhere. He knew he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from looking and longing....…..

                                                    Sara is kidnapped by indians

Sara was in trouble and she knew it. She just had to find a way to escape from this hellhole of a prison. These last six months were about to kill her. If it hadn’t been for her memories of her handsome cowboy, she knows she would have gone mad. There was a time when she was first kidnapped that she wanted to die. She wanted to hang her head over and command her heart to stop beating. How could her plans have gone so wrong? Now she was so weak. She was exhausted from all the work her captors made her do. She was prodded awake early every morning and pushed down the path to work in the fields. Her hands were raw and bleeding constantly. But the pain of being beaten again made her work. She was so tired. The  only things that helped her to stay alive and that helped her through the lonely dark nights were her memories of Don. She wished he would come and take her away and love her. Take the nightmares away .

2 yrs earlier:       Sara was on the balcony and she was having fun celebrating the new year. This was the year she felt that she would have enough money saved to take the long stagecoach ride to Nevada. Tonight she celebrated with her fellow working girls. Most of the girls at Miss Kitty’s parlor were out in the streep hooping and hollering. A few of the drunken men were even shooting their pistol’s in the air. The sun was almost down when she looked to the west.and that's when she saw the cowboy riding into town........
