Last week I fell off the sofa avoiding the spider who lives in my house...this afternoon i fell off a chair in the garden getting my daughter down from the garage roof...I have iced, elevated etc it and taken copious amounts of pain killers and it still hurts like f**k, too sore to drive to the hospital...NOTE TO SELF...stop standing on the furniture.

i'm just sitting here talking to my mom about my vacation next week- explaining that i'm not sure i'm going to go on the water slides this year-normally i'm a big fan of them, but i keep thinking about how as i get older, the injuries find me much easier than before, and the thought of those thin mats being the only thing blocking my body from the hard concrete is giving me pause this year.....i don't want to hurt myself!!!!
