  We demand cheap labor, people from poor countries supply said cheap labor.
   
  You can't reduce one without reducing the other, which will create its own set of problems.
   
  Bush tried a guest worker program and it died. My guess is if Obama is elected he'll push an amnesty program through. Whether or not this will solve the "problem" is another question.

  illegals are just that!...illegal.Those who hire them should pay a price high enough to make them not hire illegals.If there were no jobs available they would never come here,or those here would go home....kids and all.We spend billions to rebuild Iraq.Lets build a great nation out of Mexico as well.At this point we give social services,school,medical and everything for free to  illegals.When did Americans get a free ride? They don't even want to learn english.When did other races force their lanuages on us once in America.Spanish is on every single thing you buy now.I have nothing against Mexican people,but illegals should be forced out.

  People come here illegally from all over the world, not just Mexico. And the problem cuts way deeper than we think. Were we to really force out every single illegal worker, most restaurants would lose their busboys and kitchen workers. Building conctractors would lose their drywallers, roofers, mudders, shovelers, you name it, they lose it. Many middle class parents would find themselves without day care workers or nannies.
   
  I just read an article about the biggest kosher meat producer having to reduce deliveries due to labor problems. Apparently an immigration raid took out most of its workforce. Although illegals who eat all kinds of unkosher foods handling "kosher" meat just doesn't sound "kosher" to me at all...
   
  I'm not going to pretend that I have a solution to this. I'm just saying that forcing tens of millions of people to leave will create vast vaccuums in our economy and make life a great deal harder and more expensive for us than we think.

  Curm heres an idea. When the restaurants lose their busboys and cooks,drywallers,the daycare and the nannies,All these jobs can go to WELFARE RECEIPIENTS. Aren't they the ones we have to be worried about? They have a workfare program. What about the ex-cons(busboy,cook,drywaller,plumber) who need work? I'm not anti-immigrant but I think this country has enough to worry about with it's own inhabitants instead of worrying about the worlds'.
   
  Always take care of home(Americans) 1st, then sweat the other stuff(immigrants).

  And from a report in Texas, illegal immigrants cost Texas $3.7 billion a year, they're also putting $17.7 billion back in to Texas' pockets. So you've got to ask yourself - who's getting the freebies?

  American Indians got the short end untill casinos came into being for them. Look what we put out just for educating the young illegals who don't want to learn english.Teachers tell me this.To get a job you pretty much have to know spanish.This is not their country!   Would you trust a welfare recipient with your children, over say an au pair from Austria? Yeah - they come here illegally too. There's a reason they're on welfare. Employable people who want to work can find a job here, whether or not they speak English.
   
  And let's face it - most native-born Americans are too fat, out of shape, and plainly unmotivated to pick strawberries, apples, lettuce and so on no matter how much is offered. Agriculture will simply move south of the border.
   
  Actually the way to dry up opportunities for illegals is to simply put them on the same cost footing as American labor. If every single job in the US had to come with minimum wage and health benefits regardless of who was working, low paying jobs for illegals would dry right up. There'd be no reason to hire an undocumented person over an American if they both cost the same, especially if hiring the illegals also came with substantial penalties.
   
  Right now, hiring illegals is plainly worth the risk, from a cost-benefit standpoint. Equalize costs and you change the game entirely.

  alright so heres my point on it now. Since im a carpenter.  Theres no work for me in my field because of illegals under cutting my bids and what not. they dont pay taxes so they can charge less. simple fact there. so give cops the right to write a damn ticket to and contracter working them. adds more income for a short period to the county that writes the ticket thus for adding more income into the county. Then when nobody will hire them they will go home. and either come back legal or stay in their home country. that opens up thousands of jobs for people who are layed off and cant find work right now. thus fixing some of the work employment problems right now. for the dumb-ass that wrote who will trust their kids with uneployed people. well for one i wouldnt want or let an illegal watch my kid so they can be ill treated or rape with no pentaly except oh wait your illegal go home and come right back over the border. so you can get a new name and rape some more little kids. anyone who supports illegal when theirs thousands of people without jobs is nothing but a greed infested person that wants to make as much as possible top end by cutting thier work/cost prices. so the only people who benifit from illegals in any way are people who are willing to work them or people who are already rich that want a cheap ass pool boy.
