Giant dead zone off gulf of mexico is the result of fertilizer runoff. You may think, fertilizers are for plants, not meat. This is true, and we grow 10 times more plants in order to feed it to the animals we eat. Roughly, for every 10 lbs of plants we grow we get 1 lb of beef. Eating the plants directly is 10 times more efficient, would use 10 times less fertilizer, and would make us healthier.

blue....there are societies on earth.... (disappearing fast) that have lived sustainably on earth.....it's not the fact that we are "human" it's the fact that we've tried to separate ourselves from the rest of nature and as we're discovering ....that's not possible.
