  It's my belief that we all possess psychic abilities.  The more they're used, the stronger they become.  Some of use have an easier time with it than others.  Even conventional christianity should be compatable with this concept since we were all made "in the image of God" and we believe he is a universal power.
   
  Of your first two questions the only difference is one uses direct connection to that universal power, the other an intermediary to connect.
   
  As for whether praying in church is equal to or the same as tarot/runes/etc. I am reserving the right to not comment.  In my mind the jury is still debating it. :)

  The Chosen Few MC has a chapter in upstate NY and ride in our area on a regular basis (Cam's Dad road with them when he came back from Viet Nam, but doesn't ride any longer).

  Hello my wondering friend! *smile* you know, "I" believe there are tools we can use, they aren't 100 percent correct all the time. because we are only human and certain things are not for our understanding. following me. *smile*

  from the beginning of time folks "want" to beleive, they need hope. we all seek God/Goddess. the ones that say they believe that there is no God, they have never been touched in a spiritual way.

  we all have the ability/gift to do supernatural things. ONLY if we believe! train and try to manifest our powers.

  many ages ago folks believed and practiced psychic powers. things changed. :~(

  hon, you can pray in the middle of no where and the "Higher Power" will hear. i believe (most of the time) using tools to look for answers if you know how and believe. most Christains will not even go there. :~(

  Yup, we all look for God in different ways. it all boils down to Love, Peace, Joy. to Me, it doesn't matter what name/names you prayer to. as long as you prayer for guidance with love in your heart and soul. *smile*

No, absolutely not.  I believe praying to God is letting God know, "I don't know anything, I can't handle this on my own, I need YOU" and getting answers from tarot and such is more of trying to find answers within ourselves.

Kind of...I believe God placed a certain emptiness in our hearts, where we long for something or someone...something that this world can't offer, only God can fill.  I think we all go find this "something" or "someone" differently.

  Yes, I believe we all have this ability...and then on top of that, there are those who have gifts of seeing or hearing or whathave you so that they can teach us, or lead us or help us...and we each have a gift that we share with others...if we choose to. It is not the road typically traveled though and it is hard, life is hard!
  I agree that all "religions" who have traditions that honor and praise God are likely all the same and praying to the same God, just getting where they are going by different "brands" or religions...xo, m

  i reckon everyone looks for guidance every now and then- and that we can seek this higher power not just from some spiritual being but that it contacts us through those around us, its that best friend that knows just what to say, its the hug from a child that could have no understanding of what you are actually going through, its that perfect song that turns up on your ipod shuffle... in short i believe all the good things in life have to be credited to something or some one, and that they are all around us to contact when ever we so feel!

  didnt really answer your questions but that was how my train of thought went when i read this =)

  I definitely believe there is a God, but we all pray to the same God giving Her different names and different images.  Unfortunately, because of all our different beliefs about God, the people on this planet keep killing each other.

  i didn't read through many comments yet, so forgive me if i re-iterate anything. 
  
  i dont believe so much in god anymore, but i used to very strongly believe in psychic/higher abilities. but i've become much more of a realist i guess you could say.
  
  you could say that people's intuitions and such are more so logical things like subconsciously reading people by the way they talk and hold themselves.
  
  but i think people could definitely have higher abilities, we dont know how everything works in our brains yet, and there's even some pretty convincing articles about things like the third eye. Third Eye - Pineal Gland - Crystalinks
  
  so if people do have extraordinary gifts, i think its available to all and tapped into by some.
  
  seeking answers through spiritual/religious types of things may/not be real in exact answers to exact questions, but both usually give some good advice either way.
  
  and i think that what we're really all searching for, is ourselves.
  
  
  ahh im talking in riddley circles. sorry, that came out kind of as a verbal vomit, but i hope you got what i was saying. i guess if i touched on one subject in particular it'd be easier to explain my thoughts but theres a general gist.
