So, I returned my last book to the library and picked up 3 more. I had a hard time settling into any of them, but eventually I managed a couple of chapters in a book called "Fire Wife". I'll let you know if the book is worth a read in a few days when I'm done.
In the book it speaks of people being made of water (calm) and/or fire (passion). There is apparently 4 parts to the person and depending who you are you have a mix of those two elements. In the book, the woman is 4 parts fire, her parents are 3 parts water and 1 part fire, her husband is 2 parts water and 2 parts fire.
Okay, I don't know about you, but if I were going to describe a person in relation to elements, I'd want to add wind (flighty) and earth (stable), so I will. Are you following me? (If not, don't feel bad as I'm barely following me.) Hang in there, there is a point to this.
So, if I described myself this way (four parts with 4 kinds of elements) I would say that I'm 1 part earth, 1 part wind and 2 parts fire. I see myself as a mix of stable and flighty, but with no (or very little) calm as a natural part of my personality. I am definately passionate, about a lot of things, not just love.
So, tell me how you would define yourself and why. Do you think my own description (based on what you know of me) is accurate, or would you describe me otherwise?
