i can't tell you how many times that's happened to me....
now i type into word and cut and paste into here because it's just too painful to hit save and find out everything you just wrote is lost!

It's happened to me and I can't seem to recreate the same blog twice no matter how much smoke comes pouring out of my brain.

I've lost a few here and there, but usually for me, the second time around is better.  I couldn't remember the last sentence I just wrote if you covered my eyes...

I have yet to write in word and paste it here---just use draft when I remember to.  If it gets eaten, I figure the cyber ghouls know what they are doing as far as my posts are concerned.  Would have liked to hear about your weekend though!

This has happened to me as well, and it's always when I've written the most intelligent, thought-provoking blog entry or comment ever to be posted on the Internets!

I tend to C&P the majority of my blog entries.

sorry it made your head explode, yes this has happened to me too. I figured that it wasn't meant to be read and nixed the whole thing...no patience over here. Mamie

honestly, stuff like that is why my longer blog entries are always written first in MS word. that sucks, starchin: my sympathies. :<

Yea, ive heard of people doing it in word first and c&p 'ing, but honestly i never know what im gonna write before i write it so i never thing its gonna be long or thought provoking, i put my fingers on the keyboard and wait for an epiphany.

yes unique duplicated art is never the same : >

Thanks wombie, i get easily flustered and the second it vanish curse words came into thought and my hands flew up in the air and i left the room. lol...

Eilan, all of ur stuff is great stuff, mostly why i didnt attempt to recreate anything was because, well, i never know what im talking about, lol, so i cant ever say it all again...that or i think my own stories are two boring to think about twice! lol.

mamikins im not patient either, my head exploded and i swore soulcast off forever, er the next 2 minutes...lol....

Silv, ur forever Mr. Careful. lol...always two steps ahead while im hanging from a rope off the edge of sanity..ah to be more like u.  : >

sc has been eating blogs and comments since day one! i wrote a 2 pager on religion and society 2 weeks ago, and it ate the whole thing! it took me half an hour to write that blog, i was sooooooo pissed! so i feel your pain. it's always best to do a ctrl-a and ctrl-c before you post, that way if it gets eaten, it's on your clip board and you can paste it back again.

nah, i've just been bitten in the ass by that problem one too many times when i used to write papers for high school. :>

Good idea Trav, whats ctrl- A?

I never had that problem in Highschool, i used that excuse a lot tho : >

  • travelr712 said on Jul 23, 2008....
push and hold the ctrl key, and while doing that, push the 'A' key, and then release them both. that is a keyboard shortcut to select all the text. it also works in a folder to select all files and sub-folders.

    did i overexplain?

I SEE SAID THE BLIND WOMAN?!...
This is an episode from my hike two weeks ago. I met an Englishman and a Japanese guy who had been into a couple of beers and wanted to practice speaking English. Oh, and there's a photo of me at the end....
I've decided to come back. It wasn't like a made a conscious decision to actually take a break from blogging......
A bit of anxiety ridden rambling...
