British Nurse Has Misconduct Hearing After Giving Wrong Woman Abortion
London, England (LifeNews.com) -- A nurse who mistakenly gave the wrong woman the dangerous mifepristone abortion drug is the subject of a misconduct hearing in England. Ann Downer, 44, gave the wrong woman the drug because she mixed up two patients who shared the same first name. 

Councel rules she can keep her license.

    that's absolutely inexcusable--that's what patients' charts are supposed to avoid! i don't care what people think of abortion, this is utterly inexcusable, IMHO.

    Hmmm how terrible, misoprostol is quite dangerous for women because often times it doesn't work as well as it should, leaving a damaged amryo... man... how much does a pair of glasses and five seconds cost to save that kind of trauma!.

    The main problem is not the women who was seeking an abortion, the initial drug she would have taken would already have done what she needed it to do however the misuse of this drug on a perfectly happy mother to be is legally dangerous for the government as it is administered as a government objective.
     
    I'm not prolife or pro abortion its a personal choice however this kind of absolute fucking abismal management is indeed worthy of a healthy law suit.

    This is a horrible thing that happened.  It important before taking any medication to always ask, "What is this?" and also ask, "What is it for?"
