Arthritis literally means “joint inflammation,” but generally refers to the more than 100 rheumatic diseases and related conditions that can cause pain, stiffness and swelling in the joints and connective tissues. A tea made from Alfalfa, especially from its seeds, has shown beneficial results in the treatment of arthritis. Simply add one teaspoon of Alfalfa seeds to one cup of boiling water. Take three to four cups of this tea daily for approximately two weeks to reduce inflammation. Another option is to regularly take alfalfa capsules or add a small amount of alfalfa to your diet.
Bake one or two egg- plants. Mash and fry in about 2 tablespoons of castor oil. Spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, garlic and salt can be added while frying.
Dosage: Take once daily for two to three months for relief.
Horsetail - an arthritis herbal remedy that strengthens connective tissues. Rich in silica, which helps harden bones.
White willow - an anti-inflammatory arthritis herbal remedy that also relieves pain.
