Of course his is true.There are those who forget to look though.We hand out food in a food hand- out line,and some cans of stew had to be recalled.This is is awarning.An alert.
Flap Jacks disappear in our home so fast that a box won't have time to expire, yet, I have seen the article and obviously with only one documented case....billions of flap jacks will continue to be breakfast.
Who keeps food that long anyhow...I mean really ?
I'd lay odds more have died from egg and/or potato salad poisoning than Aunt Jemima's deadly flaps... : )
Note: Zip lock bags seem to be the cure to this concern and a hungry mob at da table.
In any realstic house those things get cycled (or people move and don't want to take them with them) pancake mix seems to average like two years shelf life.
