  generally, i try to avoid extravagances or unnecessary driving. if i know i need to go out, i try to handle any tasks in that area in one shot--which granted, most people try to do anyway, but i pay more attention to such things nowadays.
  
  o, and i try to driver closer to the speed limit--i'm usually a speeder.
  
  let's see, most days i brown bag my lunch so i'm not spending unnecessarily while at work, but i've been doing that since gas topped $3/gallon 1+ year ago.

  Keeping to the speed limit is the most difficult, especially on the interstate.
  
  Instead of renting movies I'm borrowing them from the library.
