Well, the verdict is in on the "fattest" states in America, with Mississippi "taking the cake" if you will, for the third year in a row. I am glad that I came across this article...It really puts a boot in my ass to stay with a program to rid of my excess fat. America is getting really bad about poor nutrition. Look around you next time you go to Wal-mart or the movies. What do you see? Plenty of overweight people purchasing unnecessary food, that is what. Part of me says how dare some of these big companies put such fatty foods in us consumers' faces. The other part says, hell cigarette companies do it and I don't smoke. So why do I go to a sundae every time I stub my toe or eat 8-10 cookies in one sitting? Because I am a lazy slob, that's why. And the same goes for anyone else who does it unless some medical condition forces them to eat fatty foods (I only know of one person personally). The point I am trying to get at is, when are we all as a society going to care about our health and well-being? My husband is a frequent Halo player on Xbox 360 and any time a player from another country wants to talk trash, they talk about how fat America is. I guess they would be fat too if they took their families to McDonald's weekly. I think we should stop blaming companies for making the delicious little commodities making us fat slobs, and start being responsible for what goes in our mouth.
