  I spoke to my supervisor who gave me this I got a call on Sunday and they told me they hired a guy to train who will be working on Sat nights from.....giving him 8 hours of my shifts.
  No explanation to me and what am I supposed to tell the Friend of the Court who will require an explanation?

  Tell them what you were told.  You have no control over scheduling so you have no need to be personally responsible when they cut your hours.

  Well, I don't think they are going to accept that they hired another African American and had to give him hours as the people who were working there besides me were both crying for hours.

  Why is that your problem?  Seriously, if these Friend of the Court people need an explanation they should go directly to your employer if the reason your employer gives you is inadequate.

  Oh he gave me an answer finally in writing Via Email. It basically leaves them the option to add up to eight hours as the schedule fluctuates as he put it.
  Which means that as my check size decreases and I still have to pay 65% to child support after taxes they will suddenly call and ask me to drive extra for a four hour shift which will not cover the cost of my gas. How wonderful for me.
  They screwed me last fall, and this opens the door to do it again in the coming fall. I wish I could quit.

  that job doesn't sound great.  Have you considered looking for something else and then quitting?  Obviously some money is better than no money, but maybe this is the sign that you should be looking for something else.

  Due to my issues it is harder and harder to find a job in the first place. The problem now is that I will have issues affording both to drive to work and to see my kids as well as paying my child support again.
  And so many people wonder why I have such a negative attitude. It truly is a wonder that whatever is keeping me alive hasn't finished me off already.

  I'm sorry life is shitty.  That being said, the only way that will change is if you "power through" this stuff and make a better situation.  I know how hard that is.  I'm barely ahead of you financially.  There is a very real danger I could be homeless if things went just a bit more wrong.  I have two options, give up and let "them" win, or keep going and hopefully prove "them" wrong.  I choose to keep going until all other options fail.

  Well, if my parents pass away suddenly I will be homeless, car-less and lifeless. I am just so tired of fighting and trying to fix the issues only to be put in a position that is both unfair and unequal by any means.

  I know you believe that, but if your folks passed away, you'd figure out how to fend for yourself.  We all do, some kicking and screaming.  Life, my friend, is very unfair.  The good are punished along with the bad.
