Have coffee on your deck and watch people you know going to work.
Ignore house cleaning that could be done.
Take a long shower, do your hair, nails, and spot check all those things you usually don't take notice of.....tiny hair on your chin?
Go mail your short story from the post office--priority mail please!
Browse the library--check out a book or two---one a huge art book by Maxfield Parrish.
Grab some lunch to go---and then go to the park (the park where quietone and I met) and chow down while reading a thriller titled Deadly Exposure by Leonard Goldberg.
Gaze at the trees, sky and sun. (find a waded up dirty old blanket on an embankment, get a stick and prod at it just to make sure it's empty.)
Go home and enjoy the shade with books, pencils, charcoal, sketch pad, sharpener, small ruler.....
Read awhile, sketch for four hours on a mountain scene with a pond and a millhouse...
Sit back up on deck and admire work while sipping a brew.
Log onto SC, turn up the music and write a blog about things to do while unemployed.
Sorry, MissMimi----I don't think I belched once! Not yet, anyway....If I do, I will give it a score of 1 to 10 and let you know how I did.
Might as well have a fun day while I can....(.I may end up with a job. Or I may end up without one for several months.)
But I didn't waste this one!
What can I do/not do tomorrow?
