I am trying to decide whether to sell my place and move to LA and rent a new place and get a new job or stay here in the midwest. I am bored with Chicago. Ive lived here for 5 years. I like my place but for all the stuff that owning a place costs you, its mostly lost in the beginning ofr the mortgage to interest and taxes. I think it might be better to rent next since interest rates are going up again. Like I bought when they were at 5%. Now there al most 7%. (ouch) I don't know if I can afford something like what I have now in LA anyway. Or if I did I'd have a way bigger mortgage. The only good thing about owning so far has been writing off the taxes and interest on income tax every year and getting a fat refund.

I would totally love to go out to LA. I know I could find a job and get a new place and it would be a new fresh start. I wouldn't have to deal with snow or bad weather anymore. And LA is just more fun anyway. I might just do that after I get a few things in order, and see what I can line up in a job.
