I put together a post card for my sponcered children today.
One of my greatest joys, is when I hear from them, and from
the projects where they live: how their health is, how their
schooling is going, and what they like to do the most.
As a mom of 12, it has been especially wonderful to be able
to help children in other countries: where life is lived without
running water. . except on the feet, backs, and wings of the
children... . I know very well what kind of energy that kind
of subsistence survival takes. And I know the astounding
joy that the simplest of daily occurances gives when one is
living that way.
