when you felt something? do you go to the doctor to have it check? or do you ignore it?

you see yesterday when i told my mother that i wanna go to the doctor because of my dysmenorrhea, i told her i may have a cyst. since there are cases like mine that may lead to forming of cyst in the ovary.

i think that really scared her... my mother get scared a lot. she scolded me telling me how come i did not had it checked back in iloilo. but i already told her that in six months i did not have any period!!! and yeah this is not the first time i had these kind of cramps...

i guess she was just scared. my mother is the type of person that if something wrong in her health she would rather ignore it. she's scared that it might be serious and she thinks  if she ignores it, it will go away...

i on the other hand would rather know the truth... how serious it may be... so that i may know what to do next...

well, i'm gonna have an ultra sound on wednesday and be back on the doctor's office on friday...

well how about you???

have a great weekend!!!

keep on blogging!!!

Get that OBGYN check up every year Queenie!
I always make sure everyone in the family gets their yearly check ups and also that medical problems are checked by the doctor when they occur.
Mr P learned his lesson last year when he ignored a cavity that needed to be filled and ended up with a horrible abcess.
Why live with pain when you don't have to?
I'm glad you're getting that pain checked out, it may be nothing, but why live with pain when you don't have to?

Yes, I went when my periods got very bad. I was much older that you then and they found out that I had knots in my womb. I know it would be something else if there is something wrong with you. I went because a work mate told me that she had, had such bad periods and that she had got help from the doctor. I had to have my womb removed and I am glad. Otherwise I would have been suffering for years. Sometimes we do need advise. I am glad you went and I hope there is nothing seriously wrong.

I'm glad you're gonna get things checked out, qp.  It's better to be on the safe side.

Six years ago, my mom started having some off-and-on bleeding two or three years after she'd gone through menopause, and she waited a couple of months before getting it checked out.  It's a good thing she did go to the doc, because she ended up having endometrial cancer.

These days, I have frequent check ups.  So I'm keeping track of my body's adjustments and keeping the doctor informed.  I didn't used to do that. I've learned by lesson.

I hope everything turns out to be ok with you queen.
