My mom had a stroke when she was 52 yrs. old.  That was 2 yrs. ago, and she lives in a nursing home now.  It is sad, and I get sad everytime I go visit her.  One good thing is that she is in the same nursing home with her mom, my grandma, so I can keep a good eye on the both of them at the same time.
