Gadgets: recycling
Do you know that studies shows that people do not know how to recycle their old unused mobile phones?
Nokia surveyed mobile phone users in 13 countries and found out that they have owned around 5 phones but three out of four people said that they didn't even get the idea of recycling their mobile phones and nearly half were unaware that this is possible.
According to Nokia, nearly 80 percent of every Nokia device is
recyclable and can yield precious materials that can be reused to help
make new products such as kitchen kettles, park benches, dental
fillings or even saxophones and other metal musical instruments.
You can always drop off your old mobile phones at authorized Nokia stores for recycling.
For my old phones, it is either that I just keep them or sell them as pre-owned devices. Mind you, this is actually profitable. There was a point in time that I buy and sell preloved phones for a profit. My friends would then be amazed that I use a new phone (New model, not brand new) every week.
Do you keep them, sell them or give them?
