And, trust me, he doesn't deserve a lighter sentence.
Not that any sane parole board would let this son of a bitch out of prison under any circumstances. It's just the principle of the thing.
He murders his wife; carries her body out of his house in a sack, which his six-year-old son witnessed; dumps her body in the Oakland Hills (where my grandparents used to live); attempts to destroy evidence; insists he didn't kill her; accuses her of abandoning the children, and worse, during his trial; accuses his own son of lying to police and the court; is found guilty anyway; and NOW he's led the police to her body, in the hopes of shaving ten years off his prison sentence.
So this bastard and his attorney wasted the City of Oakland's time and money, so he could try getting away with murder--ONLY TO LOSE ANYWAY.
F--k Hans Reiser. The judge shouldn't let him get anything less than 25 years to life, because even THAT is too good for that bastard.
