Strength of Spirit
God is my strength and my guide. I am blessed, and I am a blessing.
An affirmation of new beginnings was shared by the psalmist: "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." And a more modern-day version is this: "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." I discover inner strength in knowing both of these affirmations are true for me.
Every day is a gift from God, a gift filled with promise. Each day, I find new opportunities to express my God-given talents and abilities, to bless others and myself.
The presence of God gives me strength of spirit that keeps me moving forward. God is my guide. I am strong in mind, in body, and in spirit. I rejoice with a song of praise, for God's spirit is present within me and throughout all creation.
"The Lord is my strength and my might, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him." --Exodus 15:2
