I sit here on the patio with my laptop and my guardians stationed at either side keeping watch.  They have both been rather strict with regard to adherance to doctors' instructions.  My breakfast consisted of cold cereal with lofat milk/no sugar, dry wheat toast and tea.  Scrumptious!

I do love them dearly and am glad that they are here, but it might be nice to allow an old man to have a moments peace and and indulgence or two.  Yes they are reading as I type and making comments along the way.

As an aside,  I am in no way angry that they wrote that post the other day.  I am a bit surprised though that they did so without any real understanding of what was going on.   Nathaniel was indeed quite frightened and understandably so.  It wasn't that long ago that we lost his grandmother, and we are in reality just beginning to come to terms with that.  I only wish that he hadn't alerted the whole world to my condition before knowing any of the facts.  We may have avoided getting everyone worked up over what is in the overall, a very small thing.  He just punched me in the arm, see how much he cares about my well being.  Beating up on a defenseless old man.  Ouch!

Anyway I really don't have anything specific to report at this point.  I go back in for more tests monday morning and have a follow-up with my doctor on thursday.  I may have something more substantial to report after that.

Aw, Soaring, I don't think anyone was particularly "worked up."  There was no panic in the streets!  We were just concerned for you and wishing you well :)  I think most of us have had, either firsthand or secondhand, some kind of health issue crop up and we know that sometimes it turns out to be nothing at all.  But we're all rooting for you, whether it's something or nothing.

I guess it must all be a bit embarassing though...

What my kindred spirit nyt said, soaring. ;-)

It's good to hear from you directly, and I think you're lucky to have such fine sentinels (even if you would give a lot for a moment to do whatever you want sometimes). :) I'm glad you're feeling alright. Have you had that recurrent dream again lately?

Soaring....It's great to know that you're doing well.  Nathan and Jason are really responsible young men who I know you're very proud of and have every right to be so.  Their watch over you is endearing.  Slip them an extra special treat is my suggestion.

I'm glad to see that you're home and feeling okay! I think that we're all relieved it might just be a small thing and nothing more serious. We'd certainly all prefer to get a report like that, than to know something was seriously wrong. They were just worried about you, and so were we. But I'm glad you're doing alright!

I think I missed most of what was going on here, so I will have to back track, but I do think your grandsons love their old grandpa!  After all, someone has got to keep him in line!  LOL

I'm glad it seems to be alright. I have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and i have done the sudden fainting thing before. I hope all keeps going well, and you have great grandkids who obviously love and think the world of you.
You obviously must be a great guy, and i love that they said you pulled out the trust fund card as he called it. Good job getting what you want- you earned it if you're a grandpa. :-)
