  fearing ~ yes between when polar left and I left it was a little "cry fest" for a bit.. LOL  I hate good byes!  I just went to walmart and got obout 200 pictures developed this morning! haha.  already in a photo album too.  It makes me feel good and smile.  Thanks for following us along.

  Hi kyle... we did see an ET plate out there but it was too late to snap a picture as we went by!  but I thought of you! haha.  Do you know that Iceland is closer to me then CA is!  I was surprised.

  Wow, are you serious? Iceland is closer than CA is for you? I'm not sure exactly where you are, but I never would have guessed that! How far away is Iceland from you? (I'm showing my stupidity here....but I don't even know where Iceland is except that it's WAY north) And bummer you missed capturing my license plate. That would have been cool!

  I just wanted to add that in my stewardess year I sometimes flew over Greenland but I don't remember having seen it that well. What spectacular view.

  kyle ~ CA is like 3,000 miles from here (VT) and Iceland is 2,700+ miles.  I was quite surprised too.  I must admit I had to look at the map to see exactly where Iceland was too.  I knew it was by Greenland, but not just where.  Yes it was cool seeing e.t.  and I only saw that one.

  skald ~ I was surprised when I looked down and saw land.  It was very very rugged and the Mountains were very high.  There was no sign of life on that part of Greenland.

  Yes it is a big land and there will be just life around the coast like here. I think. I want to go there.

  skald ~ I don't think I would want to go there!  It looked very scary from the air!  But, there is a place in Iceland with a glacier I have yet to see... some say it is the most beautiful place in all of Iceland....    :)

  queenie ~ I thought of hotaka when I saw how rugged those mountains in Greenland were.. I think he would have enjoyed them.  It was good to come home, but I sure did enjoy my trip and the friendships.
